If you’re reading through this page, we understand you might be facing some tough times and decisions. As much as we want to stay with our birds forever, we know it’s not always possible. Before surrendering to us, we want to try to help you work through the problems you may be facing, and we will try our best to help you work through your issues before considering surrender. As we are normally at capacity (and have our hands full!) we can’t garuntee we will always be able to assist depending on the situation or our availabilty. If that doesn’t work or is not an option, please read through our process and then fill the surrender form below. We do not always have the availability to take your bird, but if we don’t we can put you on our waiting list and/or try to help you find another rescue that can.

Fill out the surrender form in as much detail as possible.
Wait for us to call
Once you’ve filled out the surrender form, someone will contact you. If we are at capacity and unable to take your bird(s), we will add you to our waiting list and/or help you find another shelter with availabilty.
If surrendering...
It helps if birds are returned with their toys and things they may find familiar.
Vet records
You will need to provide all copies of any vet records so we can have it placed on file at our vets office, and/or provide a detailed history of their current and past health. PLEASE DO NOT LIE about your bird’s medical and behavioral history. In the long run, this will only hurt your bird.
